About the Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver efficient and effective best practice recruitment, coordination and support of Resident Medical Officers at Health New Zealand (Te Whatu Ora) – Northland District.
You will work within the RMO Unit, responsible for rostering and recruitment of Resident Medical Officers (House Officers, Senior House Officers and Registrars), as well as working closely with clinical services and managers to meet the operational needs of Te Tai Tokerau.

- Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Proven office experience in a team environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both verbal and written
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- A commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth in the competency of te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori.
- Interest in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings
Applicants need to be driven, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to apply themselves consistently and methodically to their work.
