The Role

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a permanent Education and Training Pharmacist to join our team on a full time basis. This role is based in the Whangarei Hospital Pharmacy, working 80 hours per fortnight. Competitive salary, determined by experience.

Key tasks include:

  • Development, implementation, coordination and support of orientation, training and education systems and processes for pharmacy team members
  • Development of materials and processes to support education, growth and achievement of core competencies

Skills and experience required:

  • Able to lead, educate and support others
  • Passion for coaching and the professional development of self and others
  • Experience in being part of a team environment
  • Able to relate well and communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and caregivers
  • Excellent computer skills

Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred but not essential. You will work alongside a dynamic and supportive team, with an interesting and wide variety of work to keep you engaged and motivated.
