About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to utilise specialist nursing knowledge and skills to provide patient focused care and coordination including administering and oversite of Intravitreal Injections that will optimise the patient’s journey, improve health outcomes and ensure that an excellent quality of care is provided.
About you
- Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand and holder of a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
- Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in speciality nursing practice
- Designated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)
- At least 3 years 1.0 FTE equivalent experience in Ophthalmology nursing
- At least 7 years post registration experience
- Working towards completion of master’s degree
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
