Late 80's/Early 90's - Major Refit

Major refit of all wards, creating a more modern, patient-friendly feel which included changes to layout of surgical wing wards and change of furnishing and colour schemes.  Installation of sprinklers and removal of asbestos from phase 1 buildings.
